The Festival Girl
The suns out and music festival pics are taking over our Instagram feed. Coachella has already kicked off its first weekend and we are having a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Although we missed out on last weekends festivities, we can still dress the part. What’s hot this festival season besides the obvious music, friends, and good vibes? The fashion of course! Neutral colors, long necklaces layered, & fringe are a must. Boho is everything and a strong 70’s influence is making a come back.
Putting the flower crown aside, here’s Revolution’s take on festival fashion, straight from our wardrobe.
This indian head fringe halter tank, by Vintage Havana, will have you feeling confident. It’s easy to wear while you are dancing away and it allows you to show off your back side.
Keep it simple in the front, because the back is so dramatic and stunning. Add a necklace and go light on the jewelry.
Wear this pair of DL jeans, the Florence Insta Sculpt because they will hug you in all the right places. Roll them up if the sun is beating down on you during the day. When it is chillier at night roll them back down.
Stay fresh head to toe. Start with a Goorin Bros. hat to keep the sun out of your eyes.
A bandeau is easy and the most comfortable option to wear underneath this Vintage Havana fringe trim duster. It is lightweight and is just the right amount of coverage needed.
This pair of AG denim, the “Ex-boyfriend,” will have heads turning. They are slimming and flattering! The light-wash denim goes well with any sandals or heels (for the after party), like these to-die-for Koolaburras. Layer as many necklaces as you can! Here we paired a Zacasha tassel necklace with a Cheryl Dufault designs piece.
Top this look off with the essentials for your face and head. Start with a Goorin Bros. straw hat and don’t forget to bring your Panda sunglasses! Because they are made of recycled bamboo they are light and will not get hot, even when left outside for a while.
These Koolaburra fringe sandals have a little heel. The brown color compliments the hues of blues and completes the whole look. As for the jewelry, layer this classic Cheryl Dufault necklace with a Heather Benjamin piece.
Come by the store to find your festival wear look! To all of you heading to Coachella next weekend or any other festival this season, stay safe, enjoy the music, and look great!
